Choose the right camera
Think scale, duration, weather and how the site is managed. Indoors or sheltered: TLC300. Outdoors: a BCC300 bundle with weatherproof housing.
- Step 2STEP 02
Plan camera placement
Pick an elevated point on the perimeter with the right angle over the whole area. Wall mount with BCC300-M, or clamp to scaffolding, pipes and railings with BCC300-C.
- Step 3STEP 03
Power and storage
Set the interval and a schedule for working hours only. Plan when to swap batteries and collect the SD card (up to 128 GB).
- Step 4STEP 04
Create the project film
The camera combines the photos into a finished AVI time-lapse video. Use it as the final project film and as progress reels along the way.

Filming through a Nordic winter.
This campaign runs through October, November and December. Here is what Brinno advises for cold conditions.
- The official operating range is 0 to 45°C.
- For cold weather, Brinno recommends high-quality lithium AA batteries, such as Energizer Ultimate Lithium, rated from -40 to 60°C.
- Battery estimates are calculated at 25°C. Expect shorter battery life in the cold and check the batteries more often.
- Outdoors, always use the weatherproof housing. Brinno recommends desiccant packs or anti-fog pads against fogging.

Which Brinno should I choose?+
For indoor or sheltered projects, the TLC300 on its own. For outdoor use, a BCC300 bundle with the ATH120 weatherproof housing: BCC300-M if you fix the camera to a wall, BCC300-C if you clamp it to scaffolding, pipes or railings.
How long does the battery last?+
Around 100 days on four alkaline AA batteries at a 5-minute interval, calculated at 25°C. Shorter intervals and cold weather shorten battery life. Brinno's Time Lapse Calculator gives an estimate for your settings. Open the calculator.
Can I film outdoors through the winter?+
The official operating range is 0 to 45°C. For cold conditions Brinno recommends high-quality lithium AA batteries, such as Energizer Ultimate Lithium, and always using the weatherproof housing outdoors.
Is the TLC300 waterproof?+
Not on its own. The BCC300-M and BCC300-C bundles include the ATH120 weatherproof housing, rated IPX4.
Do I need Wi-Fi or an app?+
No. The TLC300 has no Wi-Fi or app. You collect the footage by taking out the SD card or connecting the camera to a computer by USB.
What do I get out of the camera?+
A finished AVI time-lapse video. The camera combines the photos into video automatically. Files are split at 500 MB, and the split can be set in the menu.
Can it film only during working hours?+
Yes. The schedule function lets you choose filming days and times, daily or weekly.
Which SD card can I use?+
Up to 128 GB, formatted as FAT32. An SD card is included.
When does the campaign run?+
From 1 October to 31 December 2026 at participating authorized dealers.
